Our Story

We moved to Whitefish, Montana from Vermont in 2008. My life there was

spent raising my three sons and working as a health care provider offering Craniosacral,

Polarity and Massage Therapies.

I decided to move to Montana, a place I had never been, and where I did not know anyone, with the idea to create a life that I did not know what it would look like.  I have followed my sense of what the next best thing to do might be and honored my desire to use all the gifts - skills and knowledge - that I have in a manner that would be meaningful to others while building health.

In December 2011, I purchased this property and  in late 2013, it came to me to create an herb farm where people could come and experience a dance with nature, her rhythms, and her terms regarding what it takes to co-create with her for an abundant harvest and a satisfying lifestyle.  Initially, this was offered to young people who wanted to learn how to farm.  It has grown into a healing sanctuary and nature based retreat center that offers  small groups

opportunities to farm, learn, and build health.

The 2014-2017 growing seasons have welcomed over 50 interns, many of them getting college credit for the learning objectives they brought here to work on.  We have expanded our herb farm in several ways.  We became organically certified, have almost met all the requirements to sell wholesale out of state, and we have a healthy and productive flock of

diverse heritage breeds chickens.

THE FARM

Our herb farm features a 63 foot herbal mandala in the shape of a triskelion, the celtic spiral of life.  It holds the energetics of the three principles that govern what happens here - learning, farming, building health.  The orientation of the mandala supports the dynamic of bringing spirit down into form and life experience.
